My first visit to Miss Jessie's Salon

Since I’m such a huge fan of Miss Jessie products I decided why not just go and get my hair done there, since I decided to go all natural, taking care of my hair has been a very expensive journey, but so far I found some products that I think finally work and are what I consider stapled items for my type of hair, I remember writing about the products at an earlier post, so now this is the real thing. Six months ago I did yet another big chop, and now I decided to get my hair trimmed, and I am not going to lie I was scared, but I am in love with the results and I will be going back! Give it a try you guys! Book an appointment, you wont be disappointed. (And ask for Romy, she did my hair, cut and styled, she was the most beautiful person ever.)
Enjoy!

My Fashion Week Spring 2014 Recap

Fashion week is my favorite holiday, its something that should be celebrated, and I even called out of work for fashion week, its full of amazing, and creative people, and people from all over the world come to NYC just for these couple of days. I was so happy to have a hold of my friend’s camera. So, I went camera crazy, saw a few of my favorite bloggers and some famous people and I was running up and down Lincoln center, hahaha, but can you blame me?!
Enjoy!

Oh and did I mention that we got invited to see the Milly Spring 2014 show?
It was the best experience in the world and the pictures I took were AMAZING!

(by the way my fave blogger Andy Torres, check out her blog its great and really inspirational, www.stylescrapbook.com.)

Quarter Water Event

I was in total shock when my cousin told me that one of his dear friends Andrew has a clothing line. I knew I had to go to this event and see for myself, this man is so talented, I knew the show was going to be a success. And it was, all the candy, and the paper bags, reminds me of the bodegas in the Bronx. And the vibe was awesome. This clothing line is something to look into, I can't wait to buy my Quarter Water gear.

Shecky's Girls Night Out (AGAIN!! YAYY)

Do I need to say anything when it comes to Girls Night OUT???? NO! it was again amazing to bring my best friends to this event and show them the fun I had the first time I went to GNO. I was amazing, and even better; I found two of my favorite hair products there ready for me to purchase, SheaMoisture and EDEN BodyWorks. I was so HAPPY.

Miss Jessie's was also there, Beautiful girls

My Goodies from EDEN BodyWorks, trying out the Peppermint Tea Tree, which is amazing to my scalp. This set was a dream come true, they made me a believer! I recommend this product for women suffering from dry itchy scalp, this helps stimulate your scalp for hair growth, and you feel this tingly feeling that makes you feel CLEAN!... I LIVE BY THIS PRODUCT. Since that day, I purchased 4 more bottles of each, Conditioner, Shampoo, and the Milk.
(click on the link up top to look at their products)

We were acting a fool like always, haha, my friends and I don't know how to act in certain places.

Hair Day!

This is the first time that I actually post a pic of a hair day and it doesn’t involve me. My best friend finally got her hair done in this very beautiful place called Shampoo in Alphabet City (thats what New Yorkers call the avenues that have alphabets). It was too much fun. I sipped on some beer while waiting and did some shopping on some Bumble and Bumble products. We went out to eat right after and drinks. It was an awesome day. Loving her hair. What do you guys think?

Fuimos a comer justo después y bebidas. Fue un día increíble. Amar a su pelo. ¿Qué piensan ustedes?

Avenue Maintain by Essie

Of course we all know that Essie is a brand that is true to what they stand for, a chip resistant nail polish and rich color. And those that know me also know I am a HUGE Essie fan, I live and breathe by this brand. Even though I am very late with wearing this new color, because it was from the spring 2013 collection, I seem to not really care. Essie never disappoints with her colors, this one is amazing, and it’s called Avenue Maintain. The description considers this blue a “Persian blue” and its VERY true. It’s beautiful.

Fashion Launch Party

Yet again here I come with my late posts, and I apologize for all of that. So this week has been a fruitful one, bumped into some lovely friends, got invited to go to a fashion launch party by Twelv Magazine, and Material Wrld, thanks to Lookbook.nu.

The event by the way was amazing! A lot of great performers, an open bar sponsored by Caorunn Gin, and Chang Beer, and of course complimentary manicures by Manicube. That alone was enough to drive me wild, a manicure, drinks, great people, and awesome music? This is the best way to start my week.

Met the creators of Manicube, they were amazing young women, both best friends, and they decided to have a company where the manicurists come to the work office to do manicures. Face it, we as women never have the time to pamper ourselves especially when we have a LOAD of things to do. Check them, out, their concept is amazing and highly inspirational. www.manicube.com
